Our services, which are about an hour long, feature readings, music, hymns, a sermon by our minister or a presentation by a lay member or an outside speaker, and a chance for individuals to express a joy or concern to the congregation. We also have fellowship time with tea and coffee afterwards. Our aim for each service is to do one or more of the following:
Inspire us to be our best selves
Attend with sensitivity to the conscience and heart
Explore the moral dimension in our lives
Inspire us to care
Enlist us in doing something that matters
Establish a bond with tradition or community
Connect us to something larger than self, e.g., the rest of humanity, the web of life, or the larger universe
Stimulate both mind and spirit or emotions, both head and heart
